Golden Hour Romance at The Winter Park Library

For a long time now I have had my eye on this location and knew exactly what I wanted a session here to look like. The Winter Park Library offers a mix of both nature and modern architecture, and when the light hits just right at golden hour it’s the most magical location.

Ali and Noah were so wonderful to work with and their love for each other was clear to see. I think I said “CUTE!” about a million times during this session, but I just had no other words to describe it. This location is the perfect backdrop for a romantic and timeless couples session.

We began by the lake, and the setting couldn’t have been more picturesque. Prior to Ali and Noah arriving to the location I had set up for them a cozy, intimate picnic, complete with blankets, pillows, flowers, and a few more personal touches that made it feel so special. Here I captured moments of them sharing laughs, kisses, and enjoying each other’s company. About half way through the session we made our way to the library’s stunning modern architecture. It’s sleek lines and geometric shapes offered a bold contrast to the soft, glowing light and previous lakeside backdrop.

Ali and Noah’s connection was evident from the moment I met them. Their love for each other radiated through each photo, and I couldn’t be more honored to have captured this part of their story. It’s sessions like these that remind me why I love photography - each moment is unique, and magical.
